We added a Hollandstone patio and walkway, flagstone patio with Brussell Dimensional seating wall, new sod, new landscaping and drainage. This was once a yard that was never used. Now it is a continuation of their living area.

Large cedar planter boxes were installed to create a vegetable garden. The project also has new landscaping and landscape lighting throughout the backyard.

The steps and seat wall was built using the Belvidere Wall by High Format. The Belvidere Fire Pit by High Format was also installed. Landscape lighting can be found throughout the project. A large gazebo covers most of the paver patio, complete with lighting, a ceiling fan and electrical outlets. Finally, the hardscape project was accented by new landscaping using hydrangeas, grasses and ornamental perennials.

The homeowners also wanted to incorporate a flow of colors and textures that would keep visitors curious as it traveled along the planting beds in the back and side yards. The front uses a variety of shade tolerant shrubs and conifers to create welcoming entrance regardless of season.

Matt created a design that seamlessly blended old and new and added lots of color and texture. We especially appreciated Matt's ability to work with some challenging locations (dry shade, etc.). The results are beautiful and will be even more so once the plants reach their mature size.
